Kimberly Glaser, MS, CGC – Certified Genetic Counselor

Kimberly Glaser, MS CGC is a board-certified genetic counselor at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Kim has been practicing as a genetic counselor for six years and has been board certified since 2015. She received her graduate training in genetic counseling at Arcadia University in Philadelphia, where she completed clinical work at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Rutgers University, Fox Chase Cancer Center and Nemours A.I. Dupont Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree in Genetics and Cell Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Kim was an inaugural fellow for the New York Mid Atlantic Consortium for Genetics and Newborn Screening. She currently serves as the Chair of the Public Affairs Committee of the Florida Association of Genetic Counselors and is an active member of the South Florida Clinical Genetics Group.

Kim sees pediatric and adult patients for general genetics inquiries as well as prenatal, pediatric cancer, and preconception genetic counseling. She has a special interest in neurogenetics. She has extensive experience with neuromuscular disorders, inherited neuropathies, Fragile X Syndrome, inherited ataxias and Huntington Disease. Kim currently staffs our 22q Multidisciplinary Clinic and our Epilepsy Genetics specialty clinics.
